I'm Laurence. Mosaicify is a family-run studio in Durham. Every kit is designed and hand-packed to order by us.
Why I started this
Mosaicify started with a gift. A few years ago I wanted to turn a favourite photo into a brick mosaic, and the more I looked into it, the more two things mattered to me: being certain the finished piece would look like the preview on screen, and a price that feels fair for what actually arrives in the box.
That felt worth building properly, so I did. The preview you see on the create page runs the same colour-quantisation algorithm we use on the server, so the mosaic in your hands matches the one on your screen. And with no retail markup, no warehouse rent and no advertising spend, the savings come back to you.
What that means for your order
- Honest preview. What you see is what we ship: the same algorithm, tested on hundreds of photos.
- ABS plate bricks. Standard 1×1 plates and studded baseplates on the standard 8mm stud pitch, compatible with most major brick brands. They click together properly and lift off cleanly.
- Hand-packed within 5 working days. Every bag is weighed, labelled and inspected by hand before it ships.
- Free replacement bricks if anything's missing or damaged.Email with the bag code and we'll post replacements first class: just the bits you need, not a whole new kit.
