Last updated: 2026-05-29.By placing an order with Teclynx Ltd (trading as Mosaicify) ("we", "us") you agree to the following terms. They're designed to be fair under UK consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2015) and clear about what you can expect.

The contract

A contract is formed when you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation email. Before that point we may decline an order at our discretion (e.g. fraudulent payment, photo that breaches our content policy).

What you're buying

You're buying a kit of LEGO-compatible plastic bricks, sorted by colour into bags, plus a printed assembly grid sheet matching the design preview you saw at checkout. You assemble the kit yourself.

The mosaic is a quantised representation of the photo you uploaded — that is, an approximation using the limited palette of brick colours. The on-screen preview is the authoritative representation of what you will receive.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in GBP and include UK VAT where applicable. Shipping is shown before you commit to payment. We accept payment by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna via Stripe.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before dispatch. If a price was obviously wrong (e.g. listed at £1 instead of £100) we may cancel the order and refund you in full — you don't get to keep the bargain.

Photo uploads — content policy

By uploading a photo you confirm that you have the right to use it for this purpose. You retain ownership of the photo; we only use it to fulfil your order, after which it is deleted (see privacy policy).

We will not knowingly produce a mosaic from photos that:

• Depict illegal content of any kind
• Are sexually explicit
• Depict identifiable third parties without their consent (e.g. someone's child if you're not the parent or carer)
• Contain copyrighted material you do not own (celebrities, brand mascots, etc.)

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any order that breaches this policy.

Dispatch and delivery

We aim to hand-pack and dispatch within 5 working days of order confirmation. Delivery is via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (UK only, currently). Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees.

Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. If your parcel is lost or damaged in transit, contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date and we will replace it at no cost.

Returns and refunds

Statutory rights (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

Custom-made and personalised goods are normally exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period. Because each Mosaicify kit is custom-sorted to your photo, this exemption technically applies.

Our voluntary returns policy

We voluntarily extend the 14-day cooling-off period to unopened, unused kits. If you change your mind, email hello@mosaicify.co.uk within 14 days of delivery and we will issue a full refund of the kit price on receipt of the returned, unused kit. Return postage is the customer's responsibility.

Replacements (damaged / missing bricks)

If your kit arrives damaged or with missing pieces, email hello@mosaicify.co.uk within 14 days of delivery with a photo. We will post replacement bricks free of charge, typically within 5 working days. We replace the parts that need replacing, not the whole kit.

Statutory rights

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 if the product is faulty or not as described.

Liability

We are liable for foreseeable losses caused by our breach of contract or negligence, but we exclude liability for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time the contract was made, and for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under UK law.

Choking hazard

The kit contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. The kit is sold for use under adult supervision.

LEGO trademark

LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO Group. Mosaicify is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the LEGO Group. Our bricks are independently manufactured LEGO-compatible pieces.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
